This girl has attitude!!
Hi everyone
Its Sara here, Dad has written this down and is putting it into the website for me.
"I am feeling really good today, I had 2 midnight feasts last night, - jelly, peaches, chocolate mousse and desert was a nectarine! The nurse was wondering if I was doing any sleeping amongst the eating. Had a shower this morning and then walked back to my room (40 Young strides). My Aunty Robyn and Maccy have been in this morning while Mum and Dad went out for breakfast, then when they came back they all took me for a wheelchair ride down to the river, where I sat in the sun and soaked up its warmth - it was sooooo awesome. I am back in my room now with all my wonderful cards, flowers, toys, messages and all my things sitting in my lazyboy chair. The nurses are really cool especially Belinda who might do my hair later in the day."
Please no visitors today other than family.

Dear Sara. You are an inspiration to us all. Still smiling - you are awesome! It is great to hear you have been eating (sounds like the hospital food is better than its reputation!), walking and getting out. We send best wishes from Mike, Nayte and Andy. They have rung to check on you. Even my Mum keeps ringing - so you have an extensive fan-club!

hey dude hows it all going had my race yesterday was really odd just me raceing i got 3rd it was so funny to tanks beat me lol :) alana was down there with me so i wasnt down there by myself seen all your rowing mayes they all give you there love i got in a A final but to windy to race sadly lol missing ya heaps hope ta see you soon so quiet at rowing with out ya :( love ya zoe ooooxxx

We had Sue's email newsletter today and learned of your operation. Hard to believe, but you and your family seem to have everything under control - in typical Youngs fashion!. :-)
So glad that the procedure went so well and love the picture of you still smiling down by the river.
We'll check your blog from time to time, but I expect that Sue and Rob will keep us posted on your progress.
In the meantime, all our good wishes for a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing you in the sculls again!
