Dear EDA 9409
Steve and I are both bewildered as to how how you managed to stop smiling for a second so they could capture that photo!
We also loved the photo of Rob with the Play station, "who says we are too old to be able to manage one! I mean really! (LOL)
I love the sandpit Sara, I have always wanted to get one of those small ones that you can build a Japanese garden on, with the little bridges, stones, and bonzai, then the sand/small stones that you shape with a small rake. I have only been able to see this type of garden when visiting the Japanese garden (Buchart Gardens Vancouver Island). I was fascinated by how the gardener had created the squirls and lines with no footprints in the white stones. What an artwork. However seeing the shells in your sandbox makes me think of the Ocean and that is a magical thought as well.
Kiwi/Canuk Warm Fuzzy Hugs
PS: 9 months and counting till we are home to give you a real hug
Cute mohawk babe! good to see you're looking perky, albeit a little criminal...... love mascot

Sara, Rob, Sue (and Kate in that snowy place!)
It was fantastic to see you guys on Thursday, we know your spare time and energy are so precious and so we really appreciated seeing you.
So how was Wellington?
Bl_____ windy!
Bl ____ wet!
Bl______ cold!
But it was a lovely wedding and we had lots of special time with Dean's family.
What lasting images will I have of travelling with 2 year old twins in foul weather?
1. Them both pushing luggage trolleys around airports at full speed but by some miracle not chopping anyone's feet off!
2. Kyle refusing to get into the rental car and running away across the carpark in the rain saying 'won't fit, won't fit' (he wanted his own carseat).
3. Both of them sitting upstairs in Wellington airport, feet on the windowsill like they owned the place, loving watching the action outside, while our flight got delayed more and more.
We met with Ross Corbett, he sends his regards.
Rob, the next photo has to be you and your surfboard!
Hope you have a good week, all 4 of you.

Hi ho.
Yep we love that sandpit: I agree with one of the other bloggers, get that Japanese garden thing going!
Athletics cancelled today with howling wind and rain overnight. Delivered PAT to year 9 and 10 instead. They were ecstatic about that alternative as you can imagine,(fun fun fun)and then I spent the afternoon trying to talk creative writing with the remainders of 11 and 12 English. Tay-Lo away today with suspect broken foot, which will go well with his stuffed leg, wrist (and head?) honestly you think you've got probs Sara: to quote one unnamed student 'Every time Taylor hurts himself he has to have thirty tests done to see if he's all right.' Poor old Connie, and apparently today was meant to be her day off!
Big weekend with Clare doing the Queenstown women's triathlon, then Mark, myself, Chris and John and henry and Lucy all doing the 'Pass to Pub race'. Frosty got fifth overall which was damn impressive given that he was full of the cold into the bargain. He also got third in the Vet 1 class. Yours truly ended up winning a DVD player as a spot prize! Couldn't believe it!
In related news, an unnamed Twizel Area School teacher has put in an order for a new multi-sport boat without telling his wife. Things could get interesting when she finds out. Watch this space.
Census tonight so as good excuse as any for a calorific blow out, Adrienne is doing her special lasagna with bacon and creamy sauce. So much for the diet today!
Glad to see another Crusaders win over the weekend, so all's right with the world, but let's see the next round of pictures with the Black and Red Banshee at the game yelling madly.
Have a good week y'all
LOL Granty
hey ya all
soz coppied that off mr grant! hey if he's cheating on his diet, can i cheat on mine? oh wait... i don't have one! lol! but not that a few unnamed people haven't been trying, there has been "a nutrtional manual for rowers" causually lying around in places i might pick it up! I hope you appreate the effort it took to wright this! the computers being difficult, as usual! took us about half an hour to log on! Yeah athlectic sports 2moro! go ohau! theres been Lots of crappy weather athletics are posponed, and more delightful ergs. I think i might be going to the athlectics in waimate! Lol! everyone is extremly excited about that. taylor is guttd he's missing it! haha. man that mohawk is hot! you have to get some facial peircings! you and zoe! shes got her chin peirced now. Shes gone put a huge spike in at rowing and walk around trying to scare people. Hey she scares me now! Anyway you make a great crim, and maybe you can come help us intimidate people! us? i mean zoe!

i would love to comment on the photo's of rob, but again its the computers fault! i won't load quick enough1 Anyway i'm sure willis will be keen to give rob a game!
anyways , I'd best be off to bed, yeah i no its 930 but i need my beauty sleep!
lots of love! oh oh new quote1 just remebered! we were talking about going into your anarobic stage, and dads like i 've got something i think to my self when it really starts to hurt: the body is evil, it must be punished! Me and zoe laughed for about 10 mins! he was so serouis about it. Then were rwoing along, starting to dig it in and its hurting dad yells out 'the body is evil, it must be punnished' It was really hard trying to laugh and get enouhg breath in to keep on rowing!
anyways still off to bed! good night my little crimanal!

this morning owen drove up and down the warfe with his headlights on and a flood light at the end! we reinacted 2k races (really fun when we have 200m!! were really really fast at turning round! if we raced in a cirtcle, (maybe round the island) we would win win win!!

Hi Sara and Rob and Sue
Trust things are going well for you all.
Cool autumn weather here now.
Yes, Alan Grant is correct. Taylor has broken a bone in his foot - we are getting very adept at reading xrays in the lift between radiology and a and e. Six weeks in a moon boot walking cast - good thing because in seven weeks he wants to motox down in Invercargill. He cannot have crutches because he has a broken bone in his wrist! Taylor would point out that no one thought his bone was broken in his foot because he didn't cry - unlike other people!
and please, Alan, enough of the OLD Connie even though it was my only day off in eight days!
We will be at the Bone Clinic in Chch to see what can be done about the wrist on Friday - and yes, he has rather a number of xrays and scans. Very impressed with the service really!
All the best Sara. I hear you liked your mickey mouse wizard hat.
Hugs and love from Connie and Hop along.
