Hi everyone
We are at Robyns for tea and have just posted a bunch of photos. Hope you enjoy them and have a smile for Sara. We've had another long day and will be heading home for a restful weekend very soon - the week has definitely got better as it progressed and Sara is feeling much better but tired tonight. Sara is hoping to blog something over the weekend.

The Young Ones
Wow, I can be first again! Sandy here. I hope the beer was just perfect, and the wine Sue. We also had a tipple tonight, at Happy Hour, I do miss seeing you there. Took some toys for Ryan and Kyle to play with in the gravel, an excellent idea except we forgot to bring them home and when I went back later a special little yellow dump truck that had been Josh's was not to be found. The photos are excellent and that smile is as wide as ... I don't know ... the Mississippi River! What an awesome person you are Sara. Have a good weekend, pleased things are looking up, we are off to Timaru to see Dean's Dad in hospital, probably Sunday, will have to pop in on baby Noah too! Take care, Sandy, Dean, Josh, Ryan, Kyle

Zoe has just got home from watching a movie outside - part of the summer season but it's cool here tonight - even in Sunny Nelson and she got very cold, especially from being on the ground but it is a fun way to see movies. We watched one with Maryanne at the little park near us and it was a balmy evening under the stars and the movie was "Magic and Rose" which is fun to see and set at the Wildfoods Festival. But even that nght we got cold - it's like your grandmother tells you - or maybe a mountaineer in a snow cave - it's the cold from under you that you have to be insulated from! - How did I get on to that! Next time I'll take a sofa with me and sit on that!! There was a photo in the paper tonight of someone doing just that. And right now I'm off to a warm bed.

PS My word picture tonight is GAZERS - goes with movies under the stars See it was meant to be. Every other time the letters have been gobbledegook. I'll have to have a word with Adrian - he of the blog department.

Sara I love the new haircut but then I love the wigs as well. Can you wear a new one each day? You look so gorgeous anyway - even if you had a chook on your head!!

The photos are fab! Always smiling(the best things don't change) We think your new haircut looks awsome, it makes you look older than you are. Have you had fun trying on different wigs? I think it's one of those things that many of us have wanted to do, but not quite for the same reasons of course.
Really pleased that the week has got better, I'm sure it's been one of those weeks that felt like eternity, but you've got through it.
I bet Rob and Sue, you both enjoyed your drink, you deserve it-and more than many of us who overindulged last night! need I say anything more!!!
How has the weather been holding out for you in the big smoke?
Yesterday morning it was 5degrees!!!ccoooollllldddddd.... but warmed up beautifully, however it is Autum next Wednesday!-technically anyway.
Well there isn't alot else to Blog about, things are pretty much same old same old.

I can't say how proud I am of you when I see the photos of you smiling away like you are on a summer holiday. You are a truly wonderful young lady. (I did mean all that, I just couldnt' resist the pun! :-) The wigs looked great. Some of them made you look so grown up! Just fab. All the best for a lovely relaxing weekend. The view from your chch home looks lovely.
Just about to go down south and meet trace and have some takeaways and watch chick flicks - I haven't seen her for a bit since she has been busy with study & work and I have been busy with...um...dates and socialising and other important stuff ;-)
Hope to chat to you, and indeed Rob and Sue, and eventually Kate (I will write you an email and you better reply this time missy!) some time soon.

We are suffering from Olympic Watching Hang-Overs here in Canada! I think I have almost raced every race of those speed skaters and I am sure I lean over in my chair as they go around those curved corners and can feel myself poling as those cross country skiiers go up those slopes! Its exhausting (grin) but I love the energy of the Winter Olympics they seem to capture the essence of competition and unity among atheletes around the world.
Steve away to telefest today at Troll Mtn teaching some telemark moves to some young skiiers. It has just started to snow so I am sure he will be having fun.
I checked out your great photo's and thought that you could be in the TV Show - Alias as Sydney Bristow check out www.alias-tv.com/sydney.html. I am sure Cheese would be on the show as well as one of those double trouble "serious" Agents! (grin)
Read Aunty Haybales notes re haybale production and I think I might have to pay her way here to make me some!!

Nice hair cut! (original huh, bet no one else has said that to you!) Can you choose which wig to wear? that be mint, you never need to have a bad hair day! (I havn't washed my hair in like a week, but no-ones said anthing yet, but now everyone knows! i keep forgeting that other people read this blog. I've had a few comments about blogging in art, i promise i won't do it any more )went out training twice yesterday, it was so hot in the morn so we went out later. then again today we were training intervals ( so not fun!) 500m sprints. Oh goody! I'm trying to motivate myself to do my homework at the moment , but its just not happening! i'd rather sit and 'talk' to you! hey i found a new word for you and cheese! ummm hang on i'll go look in my english folder. It was word of the day. K i don't have my english folder here... i'll tell what it is tomorrow.

Hey Sara the haircut is soooo cool, even Liz T says so. (She has been reading all your blogs and thinking lots of good thoughts for you.) Lothar and I are in Smithers for the weekend, today we went cross country skiing in the sunny minus 18 c weather. Great snow!!!! It is sooo different being back home,with the Northern winter.
Miss you all, and will be back in the drop of a ???? or when I can. I'm definitely planning around early next summer for more summer sun of NZ, plus to see more of Sara of course.
I have survived two days of work now but on Friday I was given the fire Drill card;.... had to pull the fire alarm and yell fire, fire, fire. A bit of excitement on the job.
I think of you every time I hug Baasley he is in Smithers on a his first ski trip.

Hi sara and family, I am back from Hong Kong, did I tell tou I went there?????Anyways back home had a great time, love your photos short hair is cool, so are the wigs. Bought my medal and some great photos to school 2day for a morning talk in the staff room, went well. The weather is great here today. we noticed when we got back from the trip how bright it is here, and of course how beautiful the MacKenzie Basin is we are so lucky. Lots of love and hugs Jacq & Jake

hey gurl how u doin? i got art at the moment and mrs frost has locked herself in the dark room with caitlin, grace and kurt... dont ask!? so im in the art room all by myself :( i just listening to some music... you know me lol. i really miss having you in art aye. i used to get so annoyed with you because you used to be so LOUD! and i would turn up the music louder and louder until you finally got the message lol. i will never forget that time you ended up rowing on the table. what was up with that? i havent really been up to much aye. i had work on saturday and sunday so that was my weekend pretty much. did you get to watch the rugby? omg it was such a dum game. i only watched it because of dan carter... hes so hot! aye val? lol. omg there was a fight at interval today. between jake and grant. nothing that great though. didn't last very long... let me see what else has happened? oh yeah i got a txt from shannon valentine last night. shes living in timaru now with abby and her mum and stuff so thats sweet. it was random as though aye. and theres another shannon at our school now. its a guy and hes like 12 or something and he has lots of freckles and hes really annoying. lol. its all good if he reads this though because i tell him everyday in form time that he's annoying lol. im so nice aye? lol not! yay its last period! wooopee! i going to go and watch rubez and bailey do swimming lessons tonight. rubys so funny aye. she like gets her chin wet and you would think she's like the biggest dare devil in the world lol. its so cute though! ouch! i've had like a sore finger all day but i didn't really think anything of it and i just realised that i have lots of little splinters in it! suck!

Go off to camp and the whole place starts unravelling at the seams. ok slight exaggeration but some unnamed individual - may the fleas of 1000 camels infest their armpits - has nicked the mouse off my computer. NOT HAPPY! Still trying to think rationally about camp. Lots of good stuff, but a few year 9s I'm still trying to keep away from today for their own safety. As usual bugger all work got done here by the classes I left relief for. Honestly, I think if I left instructions for how to play tiddly-winks they'd say it was all too difficult and give the poor relievers the run-around. Jacq and Connie back with stunning photographic evidence of their visit to Hong Kong Disneyland Space Mountain ride. Hopefully somebody might find a way to put it on your blog site so that you and all the rest of the correspondents can appreciate it. Crusaders win again, so all's right with the world on that count. Scary this morning thinking that Tom will be 7 when the next winter Olympics comes round, and Fred will be 4!

Do not listen to Alan Grant. I planned that photo to look like I was having a heart attack, crying and laughing at the same time AND trying to fight Jacq off as she was so frightened she wanted to hold my hand. Was she nuts! I was NOT going to let go of the safety bar!
Taylor has been in the wars again - has more accidents than Antony Lancaster now. Hit a tree while swinging on the rope at the river and managed to get a stick in his foot. Infected now and on antibiotics. Doctor said it was really painful to get an injection in the foot but I didn't feel it at all!
