OK now a more serious comment. Great to see another piccie Sara of an important mile stone (kilometre stone just doesn't have the same ring) in your treatment. Again, well done you!
Life at TAS stupidly hectic this week with the ERO crew aboard for the next few days. Far too many people here far too late in the night beavering away crossing t's and dotting i's. I've had one 'visit' to a class, with this afternoon's 12 English lesson being 'observed', and I think they're back in the morning to see integrated studies.
I'm now taking a break from trying to work out how I can incorporate into tomorrow's lesson: a multi-media display, a live interview with Pol Pot's right hand man, a Cambodian meal of the Killing Fields subsistence type, and a virtual field trip to Phnom Penh within my 55 minutes of period 1! Oh yes, all this while making sure that there are specific learning objectives being covered at each step.... cynical? me? oh surely not.
Otherwise life just as crazy as normal. Frosty and I out with 11 PE period 3 today, in preparation for the Manapouri trip next term. Thomas the Jopson managed to overturn a Dancer kayak in the middle of Ruataniwha. He claimed "it's not that cold!" but no one else was keen to test this.
On the home front I am indoctrinating my Tom into the superlative exploits of the greatest secret agent in the world: I found three 'DANGER MOUSE' DVDs at the Warehouse on Saturday. Much fun! Tom should be able to sing the theme song by the time we all go up to the family reunion at Easter, thus confirming him as a young man of superb taste and critical discernment.
Anyhow, must stop procrastinating and do some work! (contacting the Khmer Rouge Old Boys association or something similar) Have a great remainder of the week Youngs all!
LOL Granty
