Wellington with Jane, Mart and Zoe
The All Blacks Irish game at Eden Park in the rain
The Indian restaurant in Roturua (Tandoori Star)

Hi Sue, Rob Sara and Kate,
soundz like your trip was pretty full on glad to here it was so good.
It is very cold here today, snowing again, and cold.
Looking forward to seeing you guys home
Jacq
Hi Country Music fans! Yes you have been everywhere man - wow!
Jacq you beat me! I thought I was going to be first, so despite our recent e-mailing Sue, I thought I'd get in here and blog. We have aborted the trip to Timaru, the roads are sounding a bit dodgy. We are aiming to get a 4WD soon, would have done it pre-winter if we had been more organised. A bit of snow here this morning, but more down country and perhaps more to come. Josh is disappointed about not going to stay at Brian's so Ali has asked him to go and play there this afternoon anyway. Talked with Helen this morning, about how we are all so looking forward to having you back in Twizel, but how we will all need to be very repectful of your family space and need of quiet times.
Did you get to Kelly Tarlton's yesterday?
Stay warm in CHCH (It's warmer here today than yesterday morning, that was very cold!). Dean says Mac is in CHCH so I guess you may see him. Take care. Love, Sandy and the Redheads.
Come on bloggers - where are you? Are you all snuggled up in front of your fires and heaters on this cold winter day? - Sandy.
What a journey. Love that litany of N.I. names and how wonderful to have a warm week going around East Cape.
It must be cold further South as even here in "sunny" Nelson it has been very cold for us marshmallow landers. The Mt Arthur range is plastered in snow.
Put those sun/snow glasses on and head south.
We kept a copy of the aerial pic of Twizel covered in snow. 211 Mackenzie Drive looks rather white!
Love Mart,Jane & Zoe
Power's back on - snow's melting, school's back. ANd it;s due to snow again. Will have to make a two roomed igloo this time round. Hey wowzer - you have been to loads of places!! Can't wait to get to some of them myself!
About to start on some marking that I should have been doing earlier this evening, but between supermarket stockup, emails etc - it's almost cold o'clock where the breath is making itself visible against light and dark surfaces in my bedroom...time for a hotty, or a hot water bottle, whichever is most available (hwb i'm afraid) te he, I already ahve a hat and merino good to boot, so you folks get back safe, keep warm and I would love to have a chat and catch up over the phone or in person.
love and take loads of care

Hi Young Family
Well the weather got hot and the fires came so Steve now on standby for the weekend, so no trip to Smithers.
Instead we will have a Happy Hour at our place tonight followed by a bbq for those who want to stay. It will be about 8 of us, one from Aussie land, one from Germany, one from Mexico, one kiwi and the rest Canadian and two little munchkins! It should be fun.
I hope the weather is warming up but still snow for you to ski.
hugs Quesnel Canuks.
Hi Guys
My word you have been everywhere! My Rob's old stamping ground up north!
Just a wee note to welcome you back to the wonderous south...sorry to you northerners but ....the south is very hard to beat!!
Tis my birthday today...23 twice...and guess how I am spending it...scrubbing the bum of our new possession..a Young 88 without a mast!Yes it is a "work in progress"..but it means the poor old trailer-sailer has to go boo hoo.
Well you guys take care bye for now.
Lots of love Janine,Rob,Sam and Sophie
hey dudey,
IM BACK FROM NATIONALS! just thought i would make a dramatic entrance lol. it was ok aye. i took 2 visits 2 the emergency department at the hospital while i was there though lol. sum lil chick (who i later found out was only 14!) smaced the ball into my face and i had to go 2 sum random doctor who then made me go 2 a eye person at the hospital who then made me get xrays. in the end all that happend was bruising close 2 the bone and concussion and trauma 2 the eye or something. so anyways, i got over that and then the VERY NEXT DAY... i smacked me knee realli hard and was like carried out 2 the 1st aid room and got laughing gas and everything. and then i was taken in a ambulance with sum central dude who dislocated his shoulder in rugby to the hospital YET AGAIN! where me and krista honestli had 2 wait so damn long! i had to get MORE xrays on my knee. and yeah. apparantly its just bruised and ive torn a ligament or something like that. damn does it hurt though! im so gutted! but krista, cody and jason made it into the nz teams. lol krista was the only white gurl, and the only 1 from the south island. pretty hard out aye? we had a good game against north aye. we only lost by 19, which is real good considering that last year the score was like 54-3 lol. and the boys lost by 7 guttering aye? it wouldve been wicked to have you there with us tho bub! we needed sum1 loud cheering us on 2 outcheer all the northland gurls lol.
much love 2 you gurl, we have to catch up some time.
love always,
shazta
